The caste kumhar is commonly
known as pandit also in sanskrit kumbhakar(where kumbha means pot and
kar means maker i.e. potter). This caste is present in all over the
world.In Nepal also there are also many types of kumhar some are live in
tarai (तराई) and some are live in hilly region called kumal(पहाडी
कुम्हार). But i specially think the creature of Nepali kumhar is India
all are may came from India in ancient period.
Must of person belonging this caste hagitate to introduce to told I’m kumhar i share that kumhar is not so simple caste but huge caste that may belong to all religion and cosmopolitan through out the world.
In Nepal , kumbhakar sangha takes the responsibility and program related to kumhar of tarai region of Nepal.
